Writers project nears completion

Calanthe Collective, Friends of Tamborine Mountain Library and the Historical Society are close to completing an exciting and comprehensive digital resource Along the Red Road: Tamborine Mountain Storytellers and Writers. It covers sixteen individuals, as well as the local newspapers and natural history journals.

You'll recognise the woman, but who is the man? 'Back in the day' he was a major player in the Queensland literary scene, and he lived intermittently on the Mountain in the 1920s and early 30s. Launch Sun 27 Feb, 3-5 pm, Tamborine Mountain Heritage Centre. Details to follow.
